Easy piped butter cookies
Unsalted butter (room temperature) 250g
Powdered sugar 150g
Whole eggs 100g
Egg yolk 20g
Vanilla extract 2g
Almond extract 3g
All-purpose flour (sifted) 360g
Coating chocolate (optional) Dipping
Sprinkles (optional) Decorating
Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Mix in whole eggs and egg yolks in three increments, scraping the bowl in between additions.
Add vanilla and almond extracts and mix until incorporated.
Add sifted flour and mix until fully incorporated.
Pipe into desired shapes onto sheet pan and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before baking.
Preheat oven to 350F.
Bake at 350F for 10-12 minutes or until edges are slightly golden brown.
Let cookies cool completely before decorating/dipping them into chocolate.
